Our tranquil retreat in Putnam County
Escape to our serene facility located in rural Putnam County, Florida. Nestled on 10 wooded acres, our property offers a natural and enriching environment for your beloved pets. We are situated almost at the end of a peaceful dirt road, ensuring a calm and secluded experience away from city noise. We can easily be reached by adjacent Clay and Alachua counties of Florida into nearby St Johns, Marion, Bradford extending into Union, Columbia, Flagler, Volusia, Duvall and have even had folks drive up from South Florida to drop their dogs flying out of nearby airports or taking off at the new Jacksonville metropolitan cruise ship port. You will find the value of care we offer surpasses many of the volume-based franchise, pavement, caged options at higher rates including some of the veterinarians who offer overnight care.
Safe and secure dog care
Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our facility is part of a gated community, and we have cameras around the main facility for added security. Inside, dogs sleep comfortably in the house in various bedrooms, utilizing their own beds or comfortable guest dog beds. Each dog is fed separately to prevent food aggression and ensure every pet enjoys their meal in peace. Treats are given out throughout the stay as reinforcement encouraging good behaviors, particularly regular potty breaks.
Explore our natural playground
Our 10-acre property boasts extensively maintained paths perfect for walking and exploration with sniffing. Much of the property and adjacent acreage are securely fenced, allowing dogs to safely roam and play. Our natural setting is home to abundant wildlife, including deer, armadillos, squirrels, rabbits, opossums, raccoons, and a variety of birds like owls and crows. The bears and snakes usually stay away or keep to themselves when they see us. Dogs enjoy chasing the small lizards/snipes and squirrels to thinking they can catch the occasional deer or bunny rabbit. It's an outdoor adventure every day!
