At High Vibes Dogs, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and transparency. We've compiled a list of common questions to ensure you have all the information you need before entrusting us with your dog.

We offer competitive rates for premium care. *Generally, it is $30 per night for the first dog and $20 for each additional dog per night. We keep it reasonable as this is a community-based nonprofit. We prefer a two night minimum for first-time guests. (This helps them settle-in and so much with separation anxiety.) So an example is a Friday dropoff, Monday pickup is $90 for one dog; 3 nights x $30 a night. Add on another pup the total goes to +$60 at $20x3 so $60+$90 = $150 total. Your Dog's time away shouldn't cost as much or more than yours! (It's part of why we got started sharing doggie-duties between friends ;-)

Days are packed with fun and engaging activities! Dogs enjoy supervised playtime, structured walks allowing ample sniff-time for brain stimulation, rest periods, and plenty of individual attention. We ensure a stimulating and safe environment from morning until evening, avoiding cage or crate confinement for the majority of their stay unless they need to be corrected by a 'timeout' separation. All Feedings are separate from other dogs to ensure no problems with resource guarding and posession issues. Our toy basket is popular and refreshed every time a toy is de-flocked or de-squeaked. The chew toys are plentiful and solid. Feel free to bring their own favorites.

Yes, we do! Feel free to bring their favorite treats. Treats are often involved during training exercises or as rewards for good behavior. Everyone receives a small treat for going out and pottying during the main workdays after initial longer jaunts in the morning and early evening Please let us know if your dog has any dietary restrictions or allergies, and we can accommodate them. Again, everyone gets a decent sized treat mid-day and little training treats for coming in and out every couple of hours to potty. Otherwise unless instructed, we keep to your feeding preferences; 1x daily or am and pm as with our own dogs.

High Vibes Dogs accommodates dogs of all ages and needs. Please discuss any specific requirements, such as medication administration, mobility issues, or other special needs, during your complimentary meet & greet so we can assess how best to care for your dog. We wish to stick to their routine as well as perhaps supplement it with holistic care practices.

Absolutely! That's half the fun and realize the content writes itself. The pictures are yours and ours along with videos. When you stay with us all pictures, video and interactions are taken by us and shared - at least once a day. It's fun to see how the pack changes and integrates over time playing with one another. Each have such personalities that are brought out by their activities and time with other doggie friends. Did we mention this is like going to Dog camp? They miss their friends when they leave as well. Expect some tiredness when they come back to you; naps are common recovery from running around all the time. We have even had clients say 'what did you do to our dogs? They slept for a couple of days after we picked them up!' Yep, we like to keep them busy and tire them out from running around and playing. Some may experience depression from being away from their dog camp friends and environment. It's perfectly normal, even though they jump for joy when you return to pick them up. Give it a couple of days and they will return to their routine.

We maintain a manageable number of dogs to ensure each pet receives ample individual attention and supervision. This allows us to create a safe, controlled, and enjoyable environment for all our canine guests. Further, we feed everyone separately to avoid resource issues. Corrections are usually made with loud noises interrupting the behavior to isolation of 'time outs' such as for repeat pestering of other dogs. Sometimes they need more socialization with gentle corrections to learn what is good behavior and gee, boundaries.

We occasionally offer special promotions or discounts beyond our standard 10% off for any stays past 3 weeks/21 nights. Please inquire about current offers when you contact us or during your meet & greet appointment. We are no longer on the dog booking platforms of Rover, Wag, Care.com and Petbackers for a variety of reasons; it's easier to go-direct without the middle-man and handle things ourselves after over a year in business now.

A complimentary meet & greet is mandatory for all new dogs. This allows us to introduce your dog to our environment, assess their temperament, and ensure they will be comfortable and happy with our pack. It also gives you a chance to see our property and ask any questions for your comfort. We wish to have peaceful, playful dogs who will get along with others and come back to play and stay with us. Our goal is repeat business and day-stay-and-plays. There is a 24 hour requirement prior to meet and greet prior to dropoff. Arrangements can me made to accommodate your schedule. Owners choose us because they know their dogs will have a fantastic time at 'Dog Camp' rather than being confined to a cage or crate with limited walks, as is common in some other boarding establishments. We are not a franchise pavement-based dog-hotel nor a veterinary service adjacent Our complimentary meet & greet lets them see what a full stay will be like, providing peace of mind. We are told that sometimes they know they are coming back to visit, such as when turning down our rural road; they squeal with delight as they know they are coming back to run the trails and sniff, sniff, sniff! Treats may also be involved.

All dogs must be house-trained, generally in good health, and have initial vaccinations. Pet parents are required to bring their dog's own food, bowls, special bedding, leashes, and any necessary crates they feel are needed as there is usually some separation anxiety the first few hours and night, hence the preferred minimum 2-night stay for first time clients. This helps maintain consistency and comfort for your dog during their stay. Please be aware we practice more holistic health methods and don't 'shoot-up' our dogs every few months for flu shots and other concoctions that many veterinary services now push having been purchased by big private equity firms. Ye' ol' fashioned country vets who handle all kinds of animals are more our style.
